About Us

Venkateshwara Open University is established through the Arunachal Pradesh State Legislative Act, LAW/LEGN-10/2012 Arunachal Pradesh (Act No.10 of 2012). As per the letter of UGC, Venkateshwara Open University, Arunachal Pradesh has been established by an act of the State Legislature of Arunachal Pradesh as a private University and is empowered to award degrees as specified under section 22 of the UGC Act.

VOU vowed to achieve extraordinary stature in the field of higher education for the benefit of career-oriented youth aspiring to achieve high grades of success. The Venkateshwara Open University as a whole provides mentored educational experience to the learners at Doctoral, Post-Graduate, and Graduate levels and to imbibe social changes in the communities across the globe.

Venkateshwara Open University aims at empowering students coming from various parts of India and the world, belonging to different cultural backgrounds, holding nonidentical socio-economic and educational backgrounds unite and attain academic excellence and integrity. A platform to Learn, Lead, Innovate and Create is provided to students to accelerate their progress during their academic journey.
